Fish

Prepare for the best catch of your life!

Prepare for the best catch of your life!

Our trips let you experience blue water, reef, creek and river fishing – so no matter your preference or if you want to try something new, there is something for everyone.

With over 40 species of tropical fish, the waters of the Top End are teeming with opportunities to break your personal record.

FISH

Below are a selection of the fish that we target with our trips. By no means is this the limit of the fish available, but these are some of the more sought after and common sportfish that you’ll be seeing.

Want a challenge? Catch a one-metre Barra (or longer) and be inducted into the CC Metre Club for extra bragging rights back home.

Our trips are purely sportfishing so, apart from the odd dinner request from the chef, it’s catch-and-release. Don’t worry, your catch of the day will be caught on film so you’ll have proof of your conquests during the trip!

The Gear

All lures and fishing gear are provided for you on our trips – and we have some of the best equipment out there! You’ll get to try out some of the top gear from Shimano, G Loomis and Diawa. Our lures and soft plastics are from professional brands like Zman, Halco and Gulp, and you can even try your hand at net casting at certain locations and spots along the way.

All gear is provided on a ‘replace if lost’ basis – so be prepared to hold on tight when you hook that thrashing Barra!

Each trip and every day is different with ever-changing scenery, tides, wildlife, fishing spots and adventures, but we can promise they all have one thing in common – a day on a Cannon Charter is an experience like no other!
