Cannon Charters was initially established in 2003 by
the owner Brian Hanlon. He created the MV Cannon in 2002 and it was launched
in 2003. Mr Hanlon created Cannon Charters from recognising the need
for a five star, first class operation that was flexible enough to allow
move when things were quiet on the fishing front. Mr Hanlon is very familiar with the Northern Territory's Top End and
Kimberley Region as he has travelled to and from the region from NSW
for the past 18 years. It was during this time he recognised the need
for this magnificent Mothership.
Since launching the MV Cannon, Cannon Charters has become very popular
amongst all fishing lovers, explorers and inparticular the corporate
clientele.
Cannon Charters is unique and sets itself apart from other fishing tour
operators as it is designed to cater for smaller, more personalised groups.
We have six professional crew members and eight guests aboard during
each trip, which means that our guests get well looked after. This allows
for a more personalised experience for each traveller.
The MV Cannon has been travelling throughout the Northern Territory's
Top End as well as the Kimberley Region now for over three years. During
this time it has been exploring Creeks and Rivers, headlands and Bays,
visiting rocky out crops and seeing extraordinary wildlife.
