MINI MINI

Join the Cannon Charters team to one of the most remote locations in the Northern Territory. Located on the southern side of Cobourg Peninsula, at the eastern end of Van Diemens Gulf, the Minimini system has a huge supply of creeks waiting to be explored.

Depart from Cullen Bay Marina (Darwin) and travel approximately 12-14 hours to experience the Minimini system, Endyalgout Island, Iwalg Creek, Murgenella Creek, Cooper Creek, Field Island and the fronts of the East and South Alligators.

This itinerary favours those wanting to catch Barramundi, with ample opportunity for sportfishing for Queen Fish, Giant Trevally and bottom dwellers as an alternative. Bluewater Tuna and Mackerel fishing is not far away given favourable weather conditions.

The

WILDLIFE

Although we are fishing addicts we often find that the rods are put down from time to time to watch nature at its finest. From launching sting rays to lemon sharks and enormous grouper.

One thing is for sure while you explore by day and that is the impressive birdlife, marine life and constant sensory overload. So many guests are taken back by the wild and ever changing fauna and flora.

We pride ourselves on local knowledge and sharing with our clients experiences they will never forget. Each guide is passionate and filled with unique information about the regions eco system. You will leave not only full of great pics to share but also educated on the wildlife.
